The Wallflower (Anime)

I LOVE IT!!! I'm in love. This Anime has gone beyond all my expectations. It must have been fate that made me pick this Manga Vol. 1, because I was at the store to get Ouran High School Host Club Vol. 3 for my sisters Christmas present, here is where Fate stepped in: There wasn't a single OHSHC on their vast Manga shelves! What they did have was The Wallflower -and an abundance of Fruits Basket but she owns all of them, as do I- So I picked it up.. and proceeded to read. I had to get over the fact that these boys look suspisciously like girls, it wasn't hard though the story ROCKS! So after gifting an already read book I went out and got the second, loving it even MORE!

Courtesy of my charming and awefully helpful blog I knew that there was a corresponding Anime to this Manga Masterpiece. if I hadn't already been in love the Anime would have done it! 4 of the 5 voice actors are tops favorites of mine (not that I dislike the 5th I just haven't heard him before.. to my knowledge) and they've brought the story to LIFE! The screaming the crying... the love!!

Anime totally 26 episodes
Wallflower, Vol. 1: Lesson 1-My Fair Bishonen epis-1~5

Wallflower Vol. 2: Lesson 2: Shrewring of the Timid epis-6~9

The Wallflower: Lesson, Vol. 3: 10 Things I Hate About Yuki 10-14

Hey all Just found out that all 26 have not be released in the US. Volumes(lessons) 1-3 were produced and released by ADV Films but then the license was switched and now Funi has it. Funimation will be releasing the Vols1-3 again in 1/20/2009 then will be releasing the rest. If you don't mind the wait I highly recommend watching Season One (as they call it), if you DO mind waiting I recommend watching this show STILL and advise you go get the Manga Oh Impatent Ones. Not sure when Season 2 will be coming out. As I said above I'm in love so I promise I'll keep you posted!

OK Chaps Sources Say that The Wallflower Part 2 will be coming out March 2009, are you excited? ALl I can say is you better, I risked life and limb for that info!! (jk)

26 Episodes

Noir - Shades of Darkness (Vol. 1)

Noir - Death Warrant (Vol. 4)

Noir - Terminal Velocity (Vol. 5)

Noir - Cloaks & Daggers (Vol. 6)

Noir: The Complete Collection

Kyo Kara Maoh

I really really REALLY want to watch this show, however there may be a little... Guy-lov'in so for if your not in to that let this ease your mind:
"Though not explicitly shōnen-ai (boys love), the series is often mistaken for such because of its overtones (such as an early plot point that ends with two male characters becoming engaged), and calm acceptance of homosexuality in the setting, as well as because the cast is predominantly made up of good-looking young men. More accurately, the series can be called a male harem. Romance is not a main theme of the series, though it has a flourishing fan-community dedicated to various romantic pairings. Kyou Kara Maoh! can also be accurately called shōjo - anime and manga written for a female audience "
It looks SUPER cute and I'm really in need of a funny Anime right now. I'm going threw Noir... its taken me a week to watch 3 episodes no humor! No Humor at all, and this looks like a blast, I haven't seen one bad review. Simply can't wait! Arn't the boys pretty?
For a pre-emptive Kyo attack check out theif offical Funimation Webpage: http://www.funimation.com/kyokaramaoh/

Scrapped Princess

This Anime has been added to my top 10 ranking in at #4 after Fruits Basket, Oruan High, and Full Metal Panic.

This show has succeeded in something that no other anime has.

It made me cry.

Now you can find Tragic love in almost all Anime but none of them quit make it like this. These characters had CHEMESTY real live emotions, that tuged and tore at my heart strings. I still can't believe it happened personally, the story was a bit rapetative, and i didn't think they fleshed the characters out enough for me to care, espeically our heroin. But man a live i'm still fighting back bouts of "WHY!!!!" Even with all that they ended the story magnificantly, it was semi-pradictable, though most stories are now adays, but I found closure and loved it even more for that.

24 (AWESOME) episodes

Scrapped Princess - Family Ties (Vol. 1)

Scrapped Princess - Melancholy Wagon Tracks (Vol. 2)

Scrapped Princess, Vol. 3 - Traveling Troubles

Scrapped Princess, Vol. 4 - Spells and Circumstances

Scrapped Princess, Vol. 5 - Prophesies and Parents

Scrapped Princess, Vol. 6 - Pacifica's Destiny

LIGHT NOVEL 13 volumes (I think)

Scrapped Princess Novel 1: A Tale of Destiny

Scrapped Princess Novel 2: Song of the Forgiven

Scrapped Princess 3: Requiem for the Infidels (Scapped Princess)

Scrapped Princess 4: March of the Knight (Scapped Princess)

The manga is only three volumes, and has no plot overlap with the anime; the only things in common are the three main characters, the idea of the Scrapped Princess, and the Mauser Faith they are running from--

Thats from a review I saw, however I have been unable to find the Manga ANYWHERE, at first I thought that novels where the manga, and they still MIGHT be however there are FOUR so i'm a bit lost. I'm posting this anyway though so if any of you know you can let me know! Hows that?

Neon Gensis Evangelion (Anime: Mecha)

Some where someone thought it would be funny to wreck almighty havoc with the releasing of these 26 Episodes. There are ONLY 26 Episodes, even though there's a movie, and "remakes" and lots of released Neon Gensis stuff. There are ONLY 26 Episodes you will not glean any more information for any of the following DVDs. OK I lied a bit, you will get a smidgen, a SMIDGEN of more information but its not worth the redundant madness that you will have to endure.

Why do I stress there are only 26 episodes, because lets face it, I'm being redundant and blatantly obvious. They re-did episodes 21-24 and 25 and 26 like thirty different times, a-n-d n-o-t-h-i-n-g c-h-a-n-g-e-d!

They did however release all of their "remakes" as NEW, let me tell you they aren't, theres like .5% new with them and the rest of the 99.5% isn't worth watching again, and again...

Just trust me Watch the 26 Normal Episodes and you'll be ahead of the game. However if you must and I mean you better be DIEING (literally) to watch these; Rent and/or Netflix them do NOT pay good hard cash for them, and still only watch the Movie: The End of Evengalion.

You know its kinda not fair! There is a reason that it is one of the classics, the beginning is phenomenal! So is the middle and your just an inch away from fast forwarding the whole thing so you can have more Eva goodness!! The Ending though, the ending kills the show, LITERALLY KILLS THE SHOW (and no one survives..)
I was once in raptures about this show, now it makes me want to hid under my bed and cry. I don't know why or how they decided their ending made sense, all they did was open another can of worms, no one taught them to put their toys away once they were finished before pulling out more. They lost most of their fan base after it came out. Its not really a wonder they had funding problems...

ANYWAY On with the Madness...

26 episodes
Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:1 (Episodes 1-4)

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:2 (Episodes 5-8)

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:3 (Episodes 9-11)

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:4 (Episodes 12-14)
Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:5 (Episodes 15-17)

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:6 (Episodes 18-20)

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:7 (Episodes 21-23)

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Collection 0:8 (Episodes 24-26)

K theres also a Platinum collection, don't worry its just more goodies ie: cut sences and extras, and apparenlty they have upped the quality of the DVD ie sound and picture. I might be captian obvious here but I used to get confused between Perfect Collections and Complete Collections, I didn't want to miss ANYTHING! If your just worried about the story your not missing anything when getting different "Collections" you just wont get the same extras, thats all there is to it.

(Watch Out Movie time!)

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Death & Rebirth The first part, Death, is an hour-long re-edit of the first 24 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion. New scenes were added to the film, which were eventually added in to the television show itself in the "Director's Cut" versions of episodes 21 through 24 which were released in the Japanese LaserDisc release and the Platinum Collection DVD release

Death was re-edited twice (told ya). The first edit was Death(true), which removed the new scenes and was shown with Rebirth on the Japanese Network WOWOW. The second edit was Death(true)², which reincorporated the image of Adam on Gendo Ikari's hand, and had several scenes taken out. Death(true)² was the cut attached to Revival of Evangelion, the final edit of the Evangelion movies, as well as the video release of Death and Rebirth.

The second part, Rebirth, consists of an entirely new animation and storyline which follows episode 24, and is a remake (wow another one) of the final two episodes of the television series 25 and 26. Due to time constraints, the new animation wasn't fully completed when the movie was released and only the first 27 minutes out of the total 40 minutes were shown in Rebirth. Originally, Rebirth was intended to include episodes 25 and 26, which were later released as the The End of Evangelion movie. Four months later, The End of Evangelion movie, the second Evangelion movie, featured the complete Rebirth animation, which was released as "Episode 25: Air", and "Episode 26: My Purest Heart for You (Sincerely Yours)".

Neon Genesis Evangelion - The End of Evangelion MOVIE (its just different accounting of Episodes 25 and 26)

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Platinum Collection (Why not it will save you a whole lot of hasel)

I have to preface this with ALLYSEN YOU'LL LIKE THE ANIMATION!

8 light novels: Ghost Hunt (can't find!)

10 manga which are based on the Akuryou Series

Looks like you have to buy them together folks, I found a few single Files but they were in Japanese and I personally don't like subs. So you get the Season Packages, I do have a list of chapters if you want them though. There are 8 Files which I'm assuming are are stories that span serveral episodes.

Trinity Blood

THERE ARE 3 DIFFERENT ADAPTATIONS: Mostly they all are the same story, however things such as names, situations, roles, and people, have either been removed, altered, rearranged, or changed in some way.

If you want order, the Novel would be the one for you, being that it is the Original brains behind the other two. The Novel came first (written By:Sunao Yoshida) then it was adapted into a Manga which later was followed by the Anime Series.

The artwork also differs from all three versions, as the character designs were each created by different artists.

I do have to add though that the Author Died, and his friend has continued it, or at least is in the process which could explain why I can't find the remaining novels and manags for sale anywhere

FIRSTLY

LIGHT NOVELS - Trinity Blood was first created as two six-volume series of Japanese light novels. The first series is subtitled Rage Against the Moons (RAM), while the second series is subtitled Reborn on the Mars (ROM). Tokyo Pop is releasing both novel series together on a four month release schedule that alternates between the two series.

1 Series
Trinity Blood - Rage Against the Moons Volume 1: From the Empire (Trinity Blood)
Trinity Blood - Rage Against the Moons Volume 2: Silent Noise
Trinity Blood - Rage Against the Moons Volume 3: Know Faith (Trinity Blood : Rage Against the Moons)
Trinity Blood - Rage Against the Moons Volume 4: Judgment Day (Trinity Blood: Rage Against the Moons)
Trinity Blood - Rage Agasint the Moons Volume 5: Bird Cage
Trinity Blood - Rage Agasint the Moons Volume 6: Apocalypse Now

2 Series
Trinity Blood - Reborn on the Mars Volume 1: The St of Sorrow
Trinity Blood - Reborn on the Mars Volume 2: The Iblis (Trinity Blood: Reborn on the Mars)
Trinity Blood - Reborn on the Mars Volume 3 (Trinity Blood Novels) (comes out May 12 2009)
Trinity Blood - Reborn on the Mars Volume 4: Mark of the Holy Woman
Trinity Blood - Reborn on the Mars Volume 5: Throne of Roses
Trinity Blood - Reborn on the Mars Volume 6: Crown of Thorns

Secondly

MANGA - There have been 10 Acts (Volumes) released in Northern America by Toykopop so far which would be 40 chapters. All my research kinda hints at more but I can't find out how much more

Trinity Blood, Vol. 1
Trinity Blood, Vol. 2
Trinity Blood, Vol. 3
Trinity Blood, Volume 4
Trinity Blood, Volume 5
Trinity Blood Volume 6 (Trinity Blood)
Trinity Blood Volume 7 (Trinity Blood)
Trinity Blood Volume 8 (Trinity Blood) (it comes out Novemeber 11th 2008)
Trinity Blood Volume 9 (v. 9) (schedules release feb 10 2009)
Trinity Blood Volume 10 (this one also missed its release date of Feb 16th '08)

Thirdly

ANIME -Funimation released a 90 min movie to promote the serise called Trinity Blood: Genesis it encompases the first 4 episodes. I couldn't find it, but if you run acrossed it thats what it is.

Trinity Blood, Chapter I (Episodes 1-4)
Trinity Blood, Chapter II (Episodes 5-8)
Trinity Blood, Chapter III (Episodes 9-12)
Trinity Blood, Chapter IV (Episodes 13-16)
Trinity Blood - Chapter V (Episodes 17-20)
Trinity Blood - Chapter VI (Episodes 21-24)

Oh! My Goddess or Ah! My Goddess

The Manga is a spin-off of Your Under Arrest written by Taiho Shichauzo, there are over 34 Volumes of Manga 28 of them are out in the US

Graphic Novels, These are lost Chapters Not sure where they go

Oh My Goddess!: Queen of Vengeance This encompases manga volumes 6&7 Chapters 40-44

The Oh My Goddess OVA

Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
Episode 4
Episode 5

I can't find anything about these, I have a faint suspiction that they are encluded in season 1 (below) but I'm not sure, I'm still looking though

The Adventures of Mini-Goddess

48 Episodes, this one kinda sits by itself, it has the same characters yet shares next to no continuity with the previous series, it departs the most from the basic manga storyline though.

or

Ah! My Goddess the Movie, its based more from the Manga then any of the other series

Lastly.. Ah! My Goddess TV Series
This series follows more strictly to the Manga then most of the others, granted they take their artistic lisence here and there but thats ok right?

24 Episodes with 2 bonus OVAs released in japan only

First Season: Ah! My Goddess
OR

Second Season:Ah! My Goddess: Everyone Has Wings

The second season is being released in the US by ADV films the first DVD of season two came out 5/8/07 so i can only imagine the rest has come out being that was over a year ago, though I'm not sure

A TV special Ah! My Goddess production entitled Ah! My Goddess: Fighting Wings was broadcasted in Japan on December 8th, 2007. This special consisted of two half-hour episodes adapting the Angel Eater arc from the manga.

Rune Soilder (Anime, Mecha)

I JUST BOUGHT THIS ONE finally!! NOW I HAVE TO WATCH IT AND I CAN UPDATE IT!
Hurray for Rune Soldier and Total Randomness!! This is the third Anime ever that I wanted,"took ya long enough!" I agree, but I have to admit it was worth the wait. Now as weird as it sounds I can't find this show in anything other then its Complete Collection. Which is probably best its not very long and would get lost if seperated.. probably. In anycase this is definately one you'll at least want to watch if not add to your collection, which I totally recommend, it brings HOURS of mindless enjoyment.

Witch Hunter Robin (Anime: WITCHES!)

Just started to watch this one, and again I was given it via a burned disc. Which makes me happy and unhappy at the same time, you see my wonderful friend -who is actually the one who introduced me to the Anime world- doesn't know which ones I'll like and not like, and where this one is a much darker show then I usually watch, he didn't want to get the whole thing and not have me like it, same goes for Hellsing, I only got the first disc, which is fine with me. Now why I'm unhappy is because I LIKE them now I have to go get the rest :) which means I have to do a search and see what IS next. And like always will I'm doing my own research I thought I'd let you all know as well!!

Wish me Luck! Oh by the way there isn't a Manga (as of yet) for Witch Hunter Robin

26 episodes

Witch Hunter Robin - Arrival (Vol. 1) Episode 1-5
Witch Hunter Robin - Belief (Vol. 2)
Witch Hunter Robin - Inquisition (Vol. 3)
Witch Hunter Robin - Fugitive (Vol. 4)
Witch Hunter Robin - Determination (Vol. 5)
Witch Hunter Robin - Vengeance (Vol. 6)

Abenobashi Magical Shopping Arcade

This show was totally handed to me as a burned disc! It wasn't even the whole Series, it was only Eps 1-4 which I think was pretty rude. Namely because I LOVED IT and now I have to go searching for the REST of it! But once I did its completely worth the wait!! Totally histerical and fun. Again my favorite voice actors brought together Chris Paton, and Luci Christain, and a new favorite Jessica Boone.

There are 13 Episodes and theres like 3 discs

or

ENJOY!!

I've Decided!

SHOCKING I know I'm not one who decideds easily, which would explain a lot.

Anyway

I am exclusively writing about Anime now, no more books (not that I've done much in that department) besides I already have a absolutely fantastic site that I use already might as well do a shamless plug for them :)

www.fantasticfiction.com

Is just what it says, type in your author, title of book, Genre, key word or just do a random search through their vaults and you'll find what you want, they even do a better job at me at putting them in order! Kinda you will still need to do SOME back-of-book reading, some series while in order don't claim they are the sequil to a Series before them, so to know that you'll have to do some research. Or just FIND OUT the hard way, like me.

But its really easy and its where I get MY info anywho so why can't you? Not sure guess You'll have to figure that out yourself.

If you like I can still give direction if needed, just let me know!
