Crest of The Stars, Banner of the Stars etc... (Anime)



My friend bought this for me ALL of it too, so I have a first haNd account to give you all!! That is when I finish watching them all which I have yet to do. Soon though, very soon.
FINISHED! Great GREAT show! I have heard complaints about the English dub, but I liked it! I tried watching it in Japanese and thought the guys voice was a girl and it confused the heck outta me for a long time so I personally recommend watching the dub -you have the choice in case you really can't stand it-.

Banner of the Stars III: OVA -K now this OVA is only 2 episodes long. Basically it closes all things left open; however I got very little out of it, (I'll shall watch it again) You see they didn't dub it, you have to watch it in English -or chinese- Subs (thats would be subtitles) and i kept missing whole sentenses and didn't catch on to what was happening in the show because I was to busy reading! Now I'm a quick reader but MAN they talk fast.
I should have known from the the menu -which is curiously all in Japanese- so I hadn't a clue what even PLAY was let alone Set Up/Languages thus I watched the show with chinese subs japanese subs and without subs for a good hour before I found the english subs. I know I'm pathetic.
I do appologise that I can NOT find Banner III online to buy like I said before my Humping Buddy (thats for you Al) bought it, I didn't even know there was a 3rd even with my extensive knowledge!! -lol- I'll keep looking though. I have The Perfect Collections, which are basically the Complete Collections so don't worry if you buy the Complete Collection or The Perfect one your not missing out on anything.

Vandread (Anime,Mecha)


Ha HA! I've finally watched this, accompanied by my darling hubby. Its official this is one of my FAVORITES!! Totally histerical! Its story is original (to me, i have yet to watch all anime) so I wasn't bored, however you can still guess what happens a couple times, which is fine with me, I hate suspense. Hubby really liked it too!
So I know I don't give reviews, but I think I'll break my rule this once.. So its about two worlds that live entirely without the other sex "Men are from Marz and Women are from Venus" literally.. well not those planets exactly I can't remember what their respective planets were called. So some how..(no spoiling here) guys and girls get combined in to one ship. The guys have to face facts that girls aren't really monsters who eat men, and the girls get to see a softer, real, actually nice and helpful side of men. Needless to say a lot of miscommunition and misunderstandings abound. Sexual Innuendos go completely unnoticed, and they bring a whole new meaning to "No good deed goes unpunished" its great!
Not long though which really tee'd me off, granted I wish most of my favorites stories would never end, but lets face it, they all can't be Pokemon.

Maburaho (Anime,total weirdness)



Now I like this Show its just the last couple episodes are very repetitive, I skiped some actually (only to go back because I missed like a second of actual info that was needed) Personally I think it has great potentional if there were MORE of it, but theres not. Yet. (no i don't know something you don't i'm just being optimistic)

Howls Moving Castle (Movie, & Book)




Hands down this is my favorite Anime Movie. Disney Joined Hayao Miyazaki to create this WONDERFUL Feature film. It gets better! This movie is baised on a Story written by Diana Wynne Jones. Both are wonderful though when put back to back they are practically differnt stories. What you need to do is enjoy each on its own level, if you have to don't even think of them as the same thing. I've done this with a couple books-made-it-big-in-show-biz example: Stardust by: Neil Gaiman recently a box office hit!

Those who Hunt Elves (Anime, Fantasy, quirky)


AVON CALLING! Honestly the most nonsensical show yet. Yes these People Hunt and Strip Elves. Don't worry they are just looking for spell fragments that may or may not have been tattooed on a body part of yours. Completely Histerical, a little repetitive, and just plain fun.

Full Metal Panic (Anime, Mecha)

Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu - Complete Collection
Fumoffu is fanfreak'intastic!! Doesn't continue the story line at all, but its just what you need after some hard core Mecha action and the dispicable Garon. Its filler, but we all know the cream is the best part of the oreo right!

I just finished watching all three seasons MAN what a GREAT show! However its end it FAR to open for my taste! So I did some searching apparnelty this one started as a Manga with 9 volumes, Full Metal Panic is volumes 1-7 and Full Metal Panic:The Second Raid is volume 8-9 or at least thats what I've figured out, There are Little side stories Full Metal Panic!: Comic Mission is 5 volumes, it is a parallel series. 'Volume 10: Nick of Time' is out and does finish it up so I'll have to go grab that. Sorry If i've confused you,

Whats Up!

So if you haven't noticed yet this blogs purpose is to give directions in ways of reading books or watching show in Order, aka Beginning to End. I have spent the last 2 years searching the web over trying to find books to read and Animes to watch, only to find a Super fantastic show or book with 80 volumes, or book sequince that I can't follow or place in order! I once read a whole series the wrong way round and by the time I got to the first book it was no longer nail bitting nor edge of the seat thrilling. I knew they survived, how else could their children have saved them three books back?

I am just starting this blog so bare with me, there aren't many "directions" as yet. Also I suppose I should specify when I say "shows" I mean Anime shows, they incidently are what have driven me to do this. They seem to be the most problematic, however I will add whatever I feel needs to be. I will also added other shows on request, heaven knows there are more books and shows out there then I can ever watch in a single life time, though I'm doing my best.
