XXXHolic (Anime, Manga)

K this was a mite tricky because the storyline crosses over with a few other CLAMP series (Clamp is a manga group) The most notable are: Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle which was written in tandem with it, and Cardcaptor Sakura, whose history it draws on at several points.

There are 13 and counting Manga Volumes. The Anime was produced by a couple companies and so doesn't stay quiet on point with the Plot. So to combate confussion I'd read that first. I didn't however and still liked the Anime anyway. Liked it a LOT actually and will now be reading the books (I think Aaron already has been, he might be able to shine a bit more on to this then I can)

Oh by the by, its pronounced 'Holic' you don't have to say all those X's

13+ volumes of Manga

Novel: xxxHOLiC: AnotherHOLiC - Odd little thing about this. Its supposed to be a Manga collection, and it FAILS magnificanlty. It only has 3 of the stories, and for once the Anime tells it better!! Apparently only Yuko and Watanuki appear, and there is hardly any supernaturalish stuff! Read it if you must but I know I'm taking a pass.

First Season: 24 TV Episodes

Clamp Double Feature: Tsubasa Chronicle and xxxHOLiC (2008) (This be the xxxHolic movie!! Watch it before the second season. You may be able to find the Movie attached to a Complete Collection of xxxHolic, I know I did. However I got mine from the Treasure Trove {i have a link} and haven't been able to find that particular colletion anywhere else)
The first season of the xxxHolic anime was relatively loyal to the comic's timeline, whereas Kei has episodes which concentrated on the backgrounds of some of the smaller arcs in the xxxHolic manga

Second Season: Kei
13 episodes!
Vol. 1-Xxxholic Tsugi DVD (I think this is the first volume, it wasn't being very helpful)

OVA 2 Episodes xxxHOLiC Shunmuki ~ K can't find these either I bet you anything they are attached to DVD 5 or something -it has 2 discs while the others have 1- If anyone knows please share with the class.

And there you have it Anime Fans. I recommend this to everyone!
